Chris Mankowski (Billy Burke) used to be on the Detroit Police bomb squad, but it’s not until he’s transferred to sex crimes that he gets a real taste of juggling dynamite. After falling for the lovely Greta Wyatt (Sabina Gadecki), he gets suspended for investigating the rich, powerful and drunk Woody Ricks (Crispin Glover). Taking matters into his own hands, Mankowski quickly realizes it won’t be easy to get justice for Greta. From former Black Panther Donnell Lewis (Michael Jai White) to sexy ex-fugitive Robin Abbott (Breanne Racano) and her erstwhile bombing partner Skip Gibbs (Christian Slater), everyone wants something from Ricks. I really wish I had a picture of him to go along with this story but we haven’t taken any yet. Over my spring break I watched Heathers for the first time and fell in love with Slater. When I came back to school, I realized that the guy I sit next to in my history class looks JUST like Slater in Heathers. They’ve got the same hair, those eyebrows, and he even dresses like him and waves his arms around like he does in the movie. This guy and I had been talking a little bit during class, and eventually we started hanging out and he asked me out. I made him watch Heathers with me and he actually agreed that he looks a lot like Slater! Jason Dean is in Heather’s American History, just like this guy is in mine. They both ride motorcycles too. Hopefully my man won’t blow up the whole school but if he tries to, I’ll just remember to press the red button to turn off the bomb :)
